SaaS price change log

Every increase, cut and cap we have verified across the marketing tools we track, dated and linked to the page where we document it. Vendors rarely announce these. We log them.

Dated list of SaaS price changes: Mailchimp free plan cut, Salesforce list prices up 6 percent, MailerLite free plan cut, SE Ranking plans retired
Four of the fourteen changes logged so far. Each row links to the full breakdown.

The log

Newest first. “Cut” means the vendor reduced what a plan includes at the same price, which is a price increase that does not show up on the price card.

How we track changes

We re-check every vendor pricing page we cover at least once a month and whenever a reader flags a change. A change goes into the log when we can see it on the vendor’s own page or help center, with the date we first verified it. Rumours, leaked screenshots and “my rep said” do not qualify. Each row links to the page where the full before-and-after math lives.

Three patterns repeat across the log. Free plans shrink in steps of roughly half. Annual discounts quietly disappear before list prices move. And “plan restructures” almost always raise the bill for the median customer while the entry price stays flat, which is why the entry price is the least useful number on any pricing page.
