LANDING PAGES & FUNNELS REVIEW · 2026

Leadpages review

The cheapest plan with A/B testing costs twice what it did in May 2025, and the new $10 tier is a publishing tool wearing the Leadpages logo.

The verdict

Leadpages spent 2025 and 2026 rebuilding itself, and the result is two products sold under one name. At the bottom sits HTML Pub, a set of publishing-only plans from $10 to €49 per month that put pages on the internet and do nothing else of consequence. Above it sits the actual Leadpages conversion product: Grow at $99/mo, Optimize at $199/mo, and Scale at $399/mo. The vendor’s own page title spells it out with unusual honesty: “Leadpages Pricing from $99/mo, HTML Pub from $10.” The $10 figure gets the clicks. The $99 figure is the price.

The relaunch also functioned as a stealth price increase, and we can date it precisely. A web.archive.org snapshot from May 29, 2025 shows Leadpages Standard at $49/mo ($37/mo billed annually) and Pro at $99/mo ($74/mo annually), with a 14-day free trial and a 25% annual discount. As of August 2026, the cheapest plan that includes A/B testing is Grow at $99/mo, the annual discount has been trimmed to 20%, and the trial has been halved to 7 days. Nothing on the pricing page mentions any of this. The sub-$99 HTML Pub tiers that replaced Standard strip out all A/B testing, Smart Traffic, and heatmaps, so the effective entry price for the product Leadpages is known for doubled in about fifteen months.

What complicates the story is that the $99 plan is genuinely competitive once you accept the number. Every core Leadpages plan includes unlimited traffic and unlimited pages, with no overage fees. Unbounce caps its $99/mo plan at 20,000 visitors; Instapage caps its equivalent at 15,000. Leadpages includes manual A/B testing (two variants), dynamic text replacement, and monthly lead and IP enrichment quotas at a price point where most competitors gate testing behind $149-249/mo tiers. We checked the vendor’s claim on that, and for the Unbounce, Instapage, and VWO class of tools, it holds.

We score Leadpages 6.9. That places it just above Kartra (6.7) and well below ClickFunnels (7.9) on our scale. The product earns its points on traffic economics and a capable feature bundle. It loses them on the quiet repricing, hard seat gating that pushes teams to $199 and $399 tiers, and a Trustpilot score of 2.2/5 driven by billing complaints that are difficult to wave away.

What Leadpages really costs at scale

The 2026 lineup has six plans across two families. The HTML Pub plans are publishing-only: no A/B testing on any of them, and the $10 Starter does not even mention SSL. The Leadpages CRO plans are where the conversion tooling lives. All prices below are as displayed on the vendor’s pricing page in August 2026; annual per-month figures are computed from the advertised 20% annual discount, since the page does not print exact annual numbers.

PlanMonthlyAnnual (per mo)What you get
HTML Pub Starter$10~$8 (computed)5 pages, 1 custom domain, 4K AI credits/mo. No A/B testing, no blog, no SSL mentioned.
HTML Pub Pro€29 (EU display)~€23.20 (computed)25 pages, 1 domain + SSL, custom slugs, API access, 5 GB storage, 1 blog, 90-day analytics, 12K AI credits/mo, MCP connector. No A/B testing.
HTML Pub Business€49 (EU display)~€39.20 (computed)50 pages, 2 domains + SSL, 2 blogs, 12-month analytics, 20K AI credits/mo. No A/B testing.
Grow$99 (€115 EU)$79.20 (computed)Unlimited traffic and pages, 4 domains, manual A/B testing (2 variants), dynamic text replacement, 2,000 IP + 1,000 lead enrichments/mo, 40K AI credits, 5 integrations, 15 GB storage. Zero team seats.
Optimize$199 (€229 EU)$159.20 (computed)A/B tests with 4 variants, Smart Traffic AI routing, click/scroll heatmaps, auto-personalization, 5,000 IP + 2,500 lead enrichments/mo, 80K AI credits, 10 integrations, 25 GB storage, 24-month analytics, 3 team seats.
Scale$399 (€399 EU)$319.20 (computed)Full auto-optimization loop, 10 domains, 10,000 IP + 5,000 lead enrichments/mo, 160K AI credits, 25 integrations, 50 GB storage, 36-month analytics, 10 seats, workspaces, audit logs, dedicated CSM.

Because Leadpages bills by features and seats rather than contacts, and traffic is unlimited, the cost-at-scale question comes down to headcount. Our standard scenario is a 10-seat marketing or agency team. Grow includes zero team seats, and Optimize tops out at three, so a 10-seat team has exactly one option: Scale at $399/mo. That is $4,788 per year billed monthly, or roughly $319.20/mo ($3,830.40/yr, computed) if you commit to annual billing up front. A 3-seat team fits Optimize at $199/mo, or $2,388 per year on monthly billing. There is no in-between: the fourth seat costs you $200 a month, because it forces the jump from Optimize to Scale.

This is a genuine regression from 2025, when Leadpages let you add team members to any plan for $15/mo each. Under the old model, a 10-seat setup on the $49 Standard plan cost about $184/mo. Today the same headcount costs $399/mo, minimum. If you are comparing this against contact-billed platforms, our real cost calculator lets you run the same 10-seat scenario across the tools we track.

European buyers pay more. The $99 Grow plan displays as €115/mo to EU visitors and the $199 Optimize as €229/mo, roughly 15-16% above the spot USD-EUR conversion at the time we checked, with no statement on the page about whether VAT is included. Scale is the odd one out at a flat €399. Geo-pricing is common; geo-pricing with a double-digit premium and no VAT disclosure is worth knowing about before you invoice a client.

The hidden costs

The trial charges your card on day 7. There is no free plan. The 7-day trial gives full access to your chosen plan, but a credit card is required at checkout and the vendor’s own FAQ says it plainly: “We collect a card at checkout… you won’t be charged until day 7.” Miss the cancellation window and you have bought a month. This mechanism is also the center of gravity of the Trustpilot record: 2.2/5, rated “Poor,” across 440 reviews. The all-time distribution is actually 72% five-star, but the 28 reviews from the last 12 months skew heavily negative, and they cluster around unexpected charges and difficult cancellation. One reviewer described the auto-renew policy as “considered illegal in Europe.” That is a customer’s characterization, not a legal finding, but the pattern of complaints is consistent enough to plan around: calendar the cancellation date before you start the trial.

The migration to the new builder has casualties. One Trustpilot reviewer reported that the rebuilt platform “deleted all previous data, all leads, half of the pages” during migration. A single report is a single report, but if you are an existing customer being moved to the new builder, export everything first.

AI credits are metered on every plan. The AI page creation that Leadpages markets itself on runs on a credit allowance: 4K/mo on the $10 Starter, scaling to 160K/mo on Scale. Run out and you buy top-up packs “from $2.50.” The allowances are generous enough for moderate use, but this is the one usage-based cost in an otherwise flat-rate product, and it is attached to the headline feature.

Your lead data has a subscription attached. Form submission history is “kept while subscribed.” Cancel, and your retention story ends. Analytics retention is also tiered — 12 months on Grow, 24 on Optimize, 36 on Scale — so year-over-year comparisons are a plan feature, not a given.

The vendor’s badges are rounder than the sources. Leadpages’ pricing page advertises “4.6/5 G2” while G2 itself shows 4.3/5 across roughly 228 reviews. Capterra is advertised at 4.6 and actually sits at 4.5 (302 reviews). Small gaps, but they are the kind of small gaps a pricing page should not have.

The discount and trial both shrank. Annual billing saved 25% in May 2025; it saves 20% now. The trial went from 14 days to 7. Neither change was announced on the page. Combined with the entry-price restructuring, the pattern over fifteen months is consistent: every lever moved in the vendor’s favor, quietly.

Features that matter

Unlimited traffic is the real differentiator. Every core Leadpages plan carries unlimited traffic and unlimited pages with no overage fees. In this category that is rare. Unbounce meters visitors (20,000 on its $99 plan), Instapage meters visitors (15,000 at the same price), and both charge for growth. If you run paid traffic at volume, Leadpages’ pricing does not punish a good month. This single fact does more for the 6.9 score than anything else on the feature list.

A/B testing from $99, not $199. Grow includes manual split testing with two variants and dynamic text replacement. Four-variant tests, Smart Traffic (AI-driven routing of visitors to the variant most likely to convert), click and scroll heatmaps, and auto-personalization arrive at Optimize ($199/mo). Scale adds a full auto-optimization loop. The gating is coherent: you can start testing at $99 and pay more for automation, rather than paying more to test at all.

The bundle replaces real line items. Heatmaps stand in for a Hotjar subscription, lead and IP enrichment (1,000-5,000 lead and 2,000-10,000 IP enrichments per month depending on tier) stands in for a Clearbit-style tool, and 200+ integrations via Paragon cover most of what teams buy Zapier for. None of these are best-in-class individually, but as bundled line items they change the total-cost math against single-purpose stacks.

AI-forward publishing, including MCP. Leadpages ships an MCP connector that lets you publish pages directly from Claude or ChatGPT, which as of 2026 is still unusual in this category. The AI page builder is credit-metered, as noted above.

Track record and grandfathering. Leadpages has operated since 2012, claims 400K+ customers and 9.1M+ leads collected per month, and is part of the Redbrick family of brands. Existing customers keep their current price and gain A/B testing and dynamic text replacement at no extra charge — a fair deal for incumbents, and an implicit admission of how much the new pricing asks of newcomers. On the mainstream review sites the product itself does fine: Capterra 4.5/5 with ease of use at 4.4, G2 4.3/5, with reviewers consistently praising speed to publish and the template library. The satisfaction problem is billing, not the builder.

Who should choose Leadpages

Solo operators and small teams running meaningful paid traffic are the clearest fit. If you are pushing 30,000+ visitors a month to landing pages, the visitor caps at Unbounce and Instapage turn into overage bills or forced upgrades, and Leadpages’ unlimited traffic at $99/mo is a structurally better deal even after the price increase. The same logic holds for anyone whose traffic is spiky — launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns — where a metered plan makes you pay for your best weeks.

Teams of exactly three get good value from Optimize at $199/mo: four-variant testing, Smart Traffic, and heatmaps in one bill replaces a plausible $300+/mo stack of separate tools. And existing Leadpages customers should stay put — grandfathered pricing plus the new testing features is the best deal anyone is getting from this company in 2026.

Who should look elsewhere

Budget-first buyers should not talk themselves into the $10 HTML Pub tier. It publishes five pages and does nothing a conversion tool does — no A/B testing, no analytics depth, no SSL mentioned on Starter. If your budget is under $99/mo and you want actual funnel tooling, Systeme.io (our 9.0, the top score on our list) includes funnels, email, and A/B testing at a fraction of the price, including a genuinely free plan with no card required.

Teams of four to nine are in the dead zone: too big for Optimize’s three seats, forced onto Scale at $399/mo for capacity they will not use. If seats drive your cost, ClickFunnels (7.9) and Kartra (6.7) price teams less punitively, and both bundle email marketing, which Leadpages still does not. Anyone who needs a built-in email engine rather than integrations should look at those two first.

Finally, if a card-up-front trial that auto-charges on day 7 from a vendor with a 2.2 Trustpilot billing record is more risk than you want to manage, that is a defensible position. Our full ranked list of marketing platforms has options that let you start free.

FAQ

Is there a free Leadpages plan?

No. There is a 7-day free trial with full access to your chosen plan, but it requires a credit card at checkout and auto-charges on day 7 unless you cancel. HTML Pub lets you build and preview pages free, but publishing requires a paid plan. The trial was 14 days as recently as May 2025.

How much does Leadpages really cost per month?

The real Leadpages conversion product starts at $99/mo (Grow), with Optimize at $199/mo and Scale at $399/mo; annual billing takes 20% off. The advertised $10/mo entry point is HTML Pub Starter, a publishing-only plan with 5 pages and no A/B testing. EU visitors see geo-priced €115/mo for Grow.

Did Leadpages raise its prices?

Effectively, yes. In May 2025 Leadpages sold Standard at $49/mo and Pro at $99/mo with a 25% annual discount and a 14-day trial. The 2026 relaunch made $99/mo Grow the cheapest plan with A/B testing, cut the annual discount to 20%, and halved the trial to 7 days. Existing customers are grandfathered at their old price.

What does Leadpages cost for a 10-person team?

$399/mo on the Scale plan — the only tier with 10 seats — which is $4,788/yr billed monthly or about $3,830/yr with the 20% annual discount. Grow includes no team seats and Optimize includes three, so team size, not traffic, is what moves you up the pricing ladder.
