SE Ranking pricing
Every SE Ranking plan, add-on and hidden line item in one place: what the tool actually costs in 2026 at real usage, not the sticker price.
Prices verified on seranking.com in August 2026. USD shown; EU customers see euro pricing (Core €109/€87.20). Our full SE Ranking review covers features and data quality.
The short answer
SE Ranking costs $129 per month on the Core plan, or $103.20 per month if you pay annually. The Growth plan is $279 monthly or $223.20 annually, and Enterprise is a custom quote. The annual discount is a flat 20% across plans. That makes SE Ranking roughly half the entry price of Semrush for a comparable all-in-one SEO suite, which is the main reason we rate it the value pick in our best SEO software ranking.
The number to actually budget for is higher than the sticker. SE Ranking sells extra seats, extra keywords, AI Search tracking, agency tools and API access as separate add-ons, and a realistic working setup lands between $140 and $330 per month. The rest of this page is that math, line by line.
Plans and limits in 2026
SE Ranking sells three tiers: Core, Growth, and Enterprise. In 2026 the plans are pitched as “SEO + GEO”, meaning classic search plus generative-engine visibility, and every plan now includes a daily AI-prompt tracking quota and API credits with MCP access out of the box.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per mo) | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $129 | $103.20 | 10 projects, 1 seat, 2,000 keywords + 100 AI prompts tracked daily, GEO research for 5 domains, 250k audit pages/mo, 25K API credits + MCP |
| Growth | $279 | $223.20 | 30 projects, 3 seats, 5,000 keywords + 250 AI prompts daily, GEO research for 15 domains, 2M audit pages/mo, 100K API credits, historical data, guest links, page-change monitoring |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom limits, full API, advanced integrations, negotiated terms |
Two things the pricing page says quietly. First, annual plans are billed upfront in full, so “$103.20 per month” is a $1,238.40 charge on day one (a quarterly schedule on an annual commitment is possible through sales). Second, only one active session per login is allowed, so you cannot share one seat across a team; extra people mean extra seats or view-only guest links.
The add-ons, and how they stack
This is where the real bill forms. The base plan is a starting line, and everything below is charged on top of it:
| Add-on | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Extra manager seat | from ~$16/mo | Each additional user beyond plan seats |
| Extra keywords | from ~$22.40/mo | Per pack; ~$32 on Growth |
| AI Search | $63.20/mo annual | $79 monthly; 200 prompts, tracks AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT visibility |
| Agency Pack | $69/mo | Annual billing only; white label, 30 client seats, unlimited scheduled reports, lead generator |
| API add-on | from ~$39/mo | Annual only, 3M credits; standalone API plans from ~$155/mo for 12M credits |
| Content marketing | from ~$39.20/mo | AI-assisted briefs and articles |
| Local marketing | from ~$18.40/mo | Per-location listings and local rank tracking |
What you will really pay: three realistic setups
The solo SEO: about $142 per month
Annual Core at $103.20 covers 10 projects and 2,000 daily keywords. Add one contractor seat (~$16) and one extra keyword pack (~$22.40) and you are at roughly $141.60 per month, close to $1,699 per year. Still well under a comparable Semrush setup, but 37% above the sticker.
The in-house marketer tracking AI visibility: about $166 per month
Core plus the AI Search add-on at $63.20 annual lands at $166.40 per month, just under $2,000 per year. This is the setup for a brand losing clicks to AI Overviews and ChatGPT answers: Core already tracks 100 prompts a day, and the add-on layers on the full AI visibility dashboard with 200 prompts, competitor AI research and sentiment tracking.
The small agency: about $324 per month
Growth at $223.20 annual, the Agency Pack at $69 for white-label client reporting, and one extra keyword pack at ~$32 totals $324.20 per month, about $3,890 per year, for a 3-seat, 30-project agency stack. Matching this on Semrush or Ahrefs costs materially more, which is where SE Ranking’s price advantage compounds.
Monthly vs annual: the 20% math
| Plan | Monthly ×12 | Annual upfront | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $1,548 | $1,238.40 | $309.60/yr |
| Growth | $3,348 | $2,678.40 | $669.60/yr |
The catch: payments are effectively non-refundable. SE Ranking’s stated policy allows refunds only where the service was not delivered as promised or a promotion says otherwise, so treat the annual charge as final. The right order of operations is the 14-day trial first, then a month or two on monthly billing if you are unsure, then the annual switch once the tool has earned a place in your workflow. Annual billing also unlocks free assisted migration of your projects and ranking history from your previous tool.
Pricing changes in 2026: Essential, Pro and Business are gone
If you find a page quoting an SE Ranking “Essential”, “Pro”, “Business” or “Personal” plan, or an entry price of $52 or $65 per month, that page is stale. SE Ranking restructured its lineup into Core, Growth and Enterprise, and the entry point moved up to $129 monthly / $103.20 annual. In exchange, the plans absorbed capabilities that used to cost extra or not exist: daily AI-prompt tracking, GEO competitor research, API credits and MCP access are now in every tier.
Also worth knowing: pricing is regional. EU customers see euros at slightly different absolute numbers (Core €109 monthly / €87.20 annual, Growth €235 / €188, Agency Pack +€59, AI Search +€63.20), with the same 20% annual discount logic.
Is it worth it? SE Ranking vs Semrush and Ahrefs on price
| Tool | Entry (annual) | Seats included | Pricing model |
|---|---|---|---|
| SE Ranking | $103.20/mo | 1 (3 on Growth) | Flat plans + add-ons, 20% annual discount |
| Semrush | ~$140/mo | 1, extra seats costly | Flat plans, higher from the first dollar |
| Ahrefs | Varies | 1 | Credit-based usage pricing, no free trial |
The honest framing from our full review: you trade some raw database depth (SE Ranking’s keyword and backlink indexes are the smallest of the big three) for a price roughly half of Semrush and rank tracking that is rated more accurate than either. If link-building at industrial scale is your job, pay for Ahrefs. For most solo SEOs, small agencies and in-house teams, the trade favors SE Ranking, which is why it tops our value picks among Semrush alternatives. For the head-to-head of the two big suites, see Semrush vs Ahrefs.
How to pay less for SE Ranking
- Take the 20%: annual billing saves $309.60 a year on Core and $669.60 on Growth, and adds free assisted migration.
- Use the trial as due diligence: 14 days, fully functional, no credit card, auto-cancels. Limits: 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords/day, 20 AI prompts/day, AI research on 3 domains. Confirm the module you are buying for is on your tier before paying, because refunds are exceptional.
- Skip add-ons until they hurt: Core’s built-in 100 daily AI prompts and 25K API credits cover light use; buy AI Search or the API add-on when you hit the ceiling, not before.
- Agency Pack only if you bill clients: at $69/mo it pays for itself through white-label reports and 30 client seats, and does nothing for a solo in-house marketer.
- Bundles: SE Ranking’s social tool Planable (from $33/mo) is 20% off when bundled, if you need scheduling anyway.
