PRICING BREAKDOWN · 2026

Jobber pricing

Jobber does not price per seat. It prices by team-size band, so the same plan costs a different amount depending on how many people you are — and the annual rate everyone quotes is an introductory rate that runs for twelve months and then rises about 42%. Here is the whole grid, both years, plus what card processing adds.

RealCostLabs is independent and reader-supported. We earn no commission from Jobber. Every figure here was read from Jobber’s own pricing page in August 2026, at each team-size setting.

The short answer

A solo operator pays $252 in year one and $348 after on Core. A three-to-five person shop pays $1,260 then $1,788 on Connect. A two-crew business wanting route optimisation pays $2,520 then $3,588 on Grow.

Three structural things decide what you actually pay:

  • Price follows your team-size band, not a per-seat count. The plan name stays the same; the number changes.
  • The advertised annual rate lasts twelve months. Every plan on the pricing page reads “for 12 months, then $X/mo.” Year two is 38–43% higher.
  • Core is solo only. The moment you are two people, your entry plan is Connect.

Year two is 42% more

This is the single most important thing on the page, and it is easy to miss because it is set in small type under each price.

Plan and bandYear 1 / yearYear 2 / yearIncrease
Core, solo$252$348+$96 (38%)
Connect, solo$840$1,188+$348 (41%)
Connect, 2–5$1,260$1,788+$528 (42%)
Grow, 2–5$1,932$2,748+$816 (42%)
Grow, 6–10$2,520$3,588+$1,068 (42%)
Plus, 11–15$4,452$6,348+$1,896 (43%)

Budget from the year-two column. Almost every comparison of field service software you will find online quotes the year-one figure as though it were the standing price, which understates Jobber by 38 to 43 percent from the second renewal onward.

The monthly rate does not carry an introductory period. It is the same in year one and year five — which matters for the seasonal maths further down.

Jobber annual cost in year one and year two across plans and team-size bands
The advertised annual rate runs twelve months. Year two is 38 to 43 percent higher.

Growing your team costs the same as upgrading your plan

Look diagonally across the grid and a pattern appears that Jobber does not point out:

These cost exactly the sameYear 1
Grow at 2–5 people  =  Connect at 6–10 people$161/mo
Grow at 6–10 people  =  Connect at 11–15 people$210/mo
Plus at 2–5 people  =  Grow at 11–15 people$280/mo

In other words, adding five people costs precisely what climbing one tier costs. That is a useful planning fact: if you are choosing between hiring and upgrading, Jobber charges you the same either way, and you can do both for two steps.

It also means a five-person shop on Grow and a ten-person shop on Connect pay identical amounts for very different software. If you are the ten-person shop, you are paying Grow money for a plan without routing.

Two of those decide most purchases. QuickBooks sync is on Connect, so if your bookkeeper needs it you are not on Core. Routing, GPS and job costing are all on Grow — the three things that tell you where your crews are and whether the work made money.

Lower tiers include a data import service Jobber values at $499; Plus includes unlimited white-glove onboarding sessions valued at $599. Neither is charged separately.

The add-ons

Add-onPer monthWhat it is
Marketing Suite$99Campaign planning and outreach
Sales Pipeline$49Keeps requests and quotes in one view
Jobber AI Receptionist$29Answers calls and texts, can book jobs

Marketing Suite at $99 a month is $1,188 a year — almost as much as the Connect plan itself at the 2–5 band. Price it as a separate product, not a toggle.

The AI Receptionist at $29 is the one worth a second look for a service business. Every missed call in this trade is a job that goes to whoever answers first, and $348 a year against a $450 average ticket needs less than one recovered job to pay for itself.

The bigger number: card processing

Jobber Payments is where most of the money actually moves, and the rates are not on the plan comparison.

MethodRate
Card2.9% + $0.30
Tap to Pay2.7% + $0.30
ACH / bank transfer1%
Instant payout+1%

On a business turning over $600,000 a year with 60% collected by card and a $450 average ticket, processing runs to roughly $10,680 a year. Against a Connect subscription of $1,260 to $1,788, that is six to eight times the plan cost.

The lever is the payment method, not the plan. Moving half your card volume to bank transfer at 1% saves about $3,420 a year — more than twice what upgrading from Connect to Grow costs. We work this through in full in our guide to software for HVAC contractors.

Monthly against annual, and when monthly wins

The annual saving is large in year one and much smaller afterwards, because only the annual rate carries an introductory period.

Grow, 6–10 bandMonthlyAnnualSaving
Year one$399/mo$210/mo47%
Year two$399/mo$299/mo25%

For a seasonal business that gap decides the billing choice, and the answer changes between years:

  • Year one: annual costs $2,520 flat. Monthly costs $399 a month. Break-even is 6.3 months of season.
  • Year two: annual costs $3,588. Break-even moves out to 9.0 months.

So a landscaper with an eight-month season should pay annually in year one and switch to monthly in year two. That is worth about $396. Revisit it at renewal instead of letting it roll — see our landscaping guide for the full seasonal analysis.

How to pay less for Jobber

  1. Model year two before you sign. The introductory rate is real, and so is the 42% step after it. Budgeting from the advertised number understates your second year badly.
  2. Check which band you are in, not which plan you want. A sixth employee moves you a band and changes the price whether or not you change plan.
  3. Push recurring and large-ticket work to bank transfer. At 1% against 2.9%, this is worth several times any plan decision.
  4. Do not buy Grow for routing if you are one crew. Routing pays when drive time between stops is a real cost; with one truck on a tight route it usually is not.
  5. Price Marketing Suite separately. At $1,188 a year it is a second subscription, not a feature.
  6. If your season is short, re-run the monthly-versus-annual sum every renewal. The right answer flips between year one and year two.

FAQ

How much does Jobber cost in 2026?

It depends on team size. Solo: $21 a month for Core in year one, then $29. Two to five people: $105 for Connect, then $149. Six to ten: $161 for Connect or $210 for Grow, rising to $229 and $299. Monthly billing is roughly double the year-one annual rate.

Does Jobber charge per user?

No. It charges by team-size band — just me, 2–5, 6–10, 11–15, and 16 or more. Within a band the price is the same whether you have six people or ten, and a plan includes the whole band.

Why is my Jobber renewal higher than what I signed up for?

Because the advertised annual rate runs for twelve months. Each plan is listed as “for 12 months, then $X/mo.” Connect at the 2–5 band goes from $105 to $149, a 42% increase.

What is the cheapest Jobber plan?

Core at $21 a month in year one, $29 after. It is solo only — as soon as you have a second user, the entry plan becomes Connect.

Which Jobber plan has route optimisation?

Grow. It also introduces GPS tracking, job costing and two-way SMS. Core and Connect have none of them.

Does Jobber sync with QuickBooks?

Yes, from the Connect plan upward. It is not on Core.

What are Jobber’s payment processing fees?

2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 2.7% + 30¢ for Tap to Pay, 1% for bank transfer, and an extra 1% for instant payout. On a $600,000 business that is roughly $10,680 a year — six to eight times the subscription.

Is Jobber cheaper than Housecall Pro?

Generally yes at comparable team sizes. Jobber Grow at the 6–10 band is $210 a month in year one against $299 for Housecall Pro Max at eight users, and Jobber’s band includes ten. See our Housecall Pro pricing breakdown.

Are there onboarding fees?

None are charged separately. Lower tiers include a data import service Jobber values at $499, and the Plus plan includes unlimited white-glove onboarding valued at $599.
