Service Autopilot pricing

$49, $199 or $499 a month — and you cannot work out your bill from any of them. There is a sign-up fee with no amount, extra licences with no rate, and eight features marked “Call for Pricing”, including QuickBooks integration on a $199-a-month plan. Here is everything published, and everything that is not.

RealCostLabs is independent and reader-supported. We earn no commission from Service Autopilot, Jobber or Housecall Pro. Every figure here was read from Service Autopilot’s own pricing page and comparison table, August 2026.

The short answer

Published plan prices are $588, $2,388 and $5,988 a year. What you will actually pay is higher and not calculable in advance, because at least eleven cost lines carry no number.

The structural problem is licences. Every plan below Elite includes one business user, and the mobile licences run 1, 2, 5 and 8. A two-crew landscaping business — an owner, an office person and four in the field — needs two business users and four mobile licences. On the $199 Pro plan that is three extra licences, and the price of an extra licence is not published.

All pricing is stated as annual subscription rates. A “business user” is a full web-based office user; mobile licences are for field staff.

Eight features with no price

This is the finding. Service Autopilot’s own comparison table marks these as “Call for Pricing” rather than included or excluded — meaning they are available, at a cost the page does not state.

QuickBooks integration is the one to look at hardest. On a $199-a-month plan it carries no price. Jobber includes QuickBooks Online sync from its $70–105 Connect plan; Housecall Pro includes it on Essentials at $149. Here it is a phone call.

And GPS is “Call for Pricing” on every tier including Elite — there is no plan at any price that publishes what vehicle tracking costs.

Everything that carries no number

  1. The sign-up fee. Every tier reads “+ sign up fee” and no amount appears anywhere on the page.
  2. Extra business users. One is included below Elite. The second is unpriced.
  3. Extra mobile licences. Two on Pro. A four-person crew needs more.
  4. The Elite plan. Contact for pricing.
  5. Payment processing rates. Payments are integrated from Startup; no card or ACH rate is published.
  6. Eight features marked Call for Pricing, listed above.

That is at least eleven unpriced lines against three published ones. You cannot build a budget from this page, which is unusual even in a category where hidden onboarding fees are common.

None of that makes it a bad product — Service Autopilot is well regarded for automations, and the Pro Plus workflow engine is genuinely deeper than most competitors offer. It does mean the demo is not optional: it is the only way to get a number.

What to ask before the demo

Send these in one email and get the answers in writing before you sit through a presentation:

  • What is the sign-up fee, on the plan I am considering?
  • What does an additional business user cost per month? An additional mobile licence?
  • What does QuickBooks integration cost on Pro?
  • What does FleetSharp GPS cost, per vehicle?
  • What are the card and ACH processing rates?
  • Is the annual rate a first-year rate, and what does it renew at?

Six questions. If the answers do not arrive in writing, that itself is information.

FAQ

How much does Service Autopilot cost?

$49 a month for Startup, $199 for Pro and $499 for Pro Plus, all at annual subscription rates and all plus an unpublished sign-up fee. Elite is quoted individually. Annually that is $588, $2,388 and $5,988 before licences and add-ons.

What is the Service Autopilot sign-up fee?

Not published. Every tier is listed as “+ sign up fee” with no amount stated anywhere on the pricing page. Ask for it in writing before the demo.

How many users are included?

One business user on Startup, Pro and Pro Plus, and two on Elite. Mobile licences are 1, 2, 5 and 8 respectively. Additional licences are available but not priced publicly.

Which plan has route optimisation?

Pro and above. Startup does not include it, which makes the real entry price $199 rather than $49 for any business buying software to tighten routes.

Does Service Autopilot integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes, but it is marked “Call for Pricing” on Pro and Pro Plus and included only on Elite. Jobber includes QuickBooks Online sync from $70 a month and Housecall Pro from $149.

What does GPS tracking cost?

Not published on any tier. FleetSharp integration is marked “Call for Pricing” on all four plans, including Elite.

What are the payment processing rates?

Not published. Integrated payments are included from Startup, but no card or ACH rate appears on the pricing page. Jobber publishes 2.9% + 30¢ and 1%; Housecall Pro publishes 2.59–3.49% and 1%.

Is Service Autopilot cheaper than Jobber?

On headline price at two crews, marginally — $2,388 against $2,520. On a comparable configuration, no: Jobber includes ten users, GPS and QuickBooks in that figure, while Service Autopilot needs three more licences plus two unpriced add-ons plus a sign-up fee.

Is it worth it?

The automation engine on Pro Plus is genuinely strong and is the reason people choose it. But treat the pricing page as an opening position rather than a price list, and get all six unpublished numbers before committing.
