Pipedrive cost per user
$14 a seat is real, and it is also the plan with zero automations. The tier most teams actually work on is $39 to $49 a seat, monthly billing adds 35–50%, and two of the features people assume are included are paid add-ons. Here is the per-seat maths at every tier.

Per-seat pricing, every tier
| Plan | Annual (per seat/mo) | Monthly | Premium | What unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $14 | $24 | +71% | Pipeline, unlimited contacts, 0 automations |
| Growth | $39 | $49 | +26% | Email sync and tracking, 50 automations, scheduler |
| Professional | $49 | $79 | +61% | Lead routing and scoring, AI email, e-sign, phone support |
| Ultimate | $79 | $99 | +25% | Higher limits, security controls |
Verified against Pipedrive’s published rate card, 2026. Annual figures are the effective monthly cost when billed yearly.

The number that decides it: zero automations
Lite at $14 buys basic pipeline tracking and little else. It has no automations at all. If the reason you are buying a CRM is to stop doing things by hand, Lite does not do the job, and every honest recommendation starts at Growth.
So the realistic per-seat figure is $39 annual, not $14. That is a 2.8× multiple on the advertised price — modest by the standards of this category, but it is still the difference between a $168 and a $468 annual bill per person.
What a real team pays
Three-person sales team, Growth, annual billing
| Line | Per month | Per year |
|---|---|---|
| 3 seats at $39 | $117 | $1,404 |
| Same team on monthly billing | $147 | $1,764 |
| Cost of paying monthly | +$30 | +$360 |
Pipedrive’s monthly premium is one of the steepest in the CRM category — 71% on Lite and 61% on Professional. If you are staying past month four, annual billing is not a discount; monthly is a penalty.
The two add-ons that are not in the seat price
Seats are not the whole bill. Two things people assume are included are sold separately:
- Campaigns — Pipedrive’s email marketing module.
- Web visitor tracking — identifying companies visiting your site.
Our own pricing analysis found a fully-loaded configuration reaching about $393 a month, roughly $4,716 a year, against a $245 seats-only bill. The add-ons are not a rounding error; they are 60% on top.
Whether you need them is a real question. Most small sales teams do not. But price them before signing, not after.
How it compares per seat
| Tool | Working tier, per seat/mo | 3 seats / year |
|---|---|---|
| Pipedrive Growth | $39 | $1,404 |
| Zoho CRM Enterprise | $40 | $1,440 |
| HubSpot Sales Professional | $100 | $3,600 + onboarding |
| Salesforce Enterprise | $175 | $6,300 |
| monday CRM | $17 | $612 (3-seat minimum enforced) |
Against HubSpot Professional, Pipedrive Growth saves a three-person team about $2,196 a year and skips the mandatory onboarding fee entirely. Against Salesforce Enterprise the gap is roughly $4,900.
Zoho Enterprise is line-for-line the closest competitor on price. The choice there is about product fit, not cost.
Is Pipedrive worth it per seat?
For a sales team that wants a pipeline that works and nothing more, yes — clearly. It is the cheapest credible CRM with real automation at the tier people actually use, the interface does not need training, and there is no setup fee.
It is the wrong buy if you want marketing and sales in one system. Pipedrive is a sales tool that sells marketing as an add-on, and at that point HubSpot’s suite pricing becomes competitive again.
Common questions
How much is Pipedrive per user per month?
$14 on Lite, $39 on Growth, $49 on Professional and $79 on Ultimate, billed annually. Monthly billing costs $24, $49, $79 and $99 respectively.
Is the $14 Lite plan enough?
Only if you want a pipeline and nothing else. Lite includes zero automations, which rules out the main reason most teams buy a CRM.
Does Pipedrive have a free plan?
No. There is a 14-day free trial with no card required, but no permanent free tier. Zoho CRM is the alternative if a free tier is essential — it covers 3 users with no time limit.
Is there a minimum number of seats?
No. Unlike monday CRM, which enforces a three-seat minimum, Pipedrive lets you buy a single seat.
How much do I save by paying annually?
Between 25% and 71% depending on tier. On Growth it is $10 per seat per month, or $360 a year for a three-person team.
