The verdict

Moz popularised SEO metrics — Domain Authority is still industry shorthand — and remains a capable, approachable suite with good keyword and link tools plus a strong learning community. It holds 4.3/5 on G2 and 4.5/5 on Capterra.

But the category has caught up: its index is smaller than Ahrefs’s, its breadth narrower than Semrush’s, and its value below SE Ranking’s. At $99/mo for Standard it is reasonable, and the free tools and community are genuinely useful — but it rarely wins head-to-head anymore.
